The tl;dr version of all of this is that legendary noise rockers Hijokaidan are headlining a small-venue U.S. tour with a bunch of in-and-out artists of similar bent, and they’re taking their alt-idol project, Avandoned, with them.(!)

With Baltimore being a pretty easy drive from Maniac Mansion, I’d be heading up there just to see Avandoned, but Hijokaidan, legends in their own right, pretty much nails it. I point you to their collaborations with BiS and You’ll Melt More!:

No idea who any of those lot are, but I would encourage you to try and enjoy the show and not just watch it through an LCD screen in your hand… (but from what I’ve been told, that’s pretty hard to do in America…)
