As Zuukyun June fades into memory, I see that we only managed to crank out a quartet of Weekenders this month. It doesn’t seem quite right, becasue we have actually been workign really hard on some cool stuff that will be hitting the site soon. Please look forward to it.

I am back home after spending a well-deserved week-long vacation in Los Angeles. My trip was bookended by Miho’s US debut last Saturday and Isiliel’s Wednesday band set with Lilin. In the days between, I ate my way through LA Japantown. I had great time, ate some great food, and it was awesome catching up with some of you all in person.

Greetings from Chinatown, Los Angeles. It’s midnight, and the family residing in the room next door to me in this hotel with paper-thin walls just decided to throw an impromptu fiesta. Since sleep is currently out of the question, I’m taking this opportunity to put the finishing touches on The Weekender in the hopes that things soon quiet down and I can get some rest. I will definitely need it as tomorrow (well, technically, today since it’s after midnight) is a big day. Namely, it’s the US debut of Miho:
While we all struggle with the end of our beloved MIGMA SHELTER, some were lucky enough to be comforted in our time of loss by idol appearances close to home. According to dispatches from Europe, Yurapico and GARUDA have successfully conquered both London and the Netherlands and were last seen heading straight for Cologne.

I have to apologize if the Weekender isn’t as full of content as usual this week, but we got hit by malware late Friday so I spent the evening cleaning the site of infected files instead of finishing this post. We’re all clean now, but the draft Weekender was a casualty in the purge. I have pieced it back together as best I could from my unreliable memory.
One thing that I certainly would never forget is that Yurapico and GARUDA are heading to Europe next week. Just as April 1 will be forever known as Fox Day on the Homicidols calendar, the first month of summer shall henceforth be known as, Zuukyun June.
