I’m going to keep the preamble short because it’s after midnight here at Saboten Con and I spent the evening enjoying Yurapico’s US debut. She put on a very high energy show and totally exhausted us. I need to wrap up The Weekender real quick and crash. 

There was another big Western debut this week, namely BiS at WACK in the UK 3.  At the end of the show, WACK in the UK 4 was announced and will feature ASP, ExWHYZ, and others to be named later.

This upcoming week in overseas idol events is freaking huge!

On Wednesday in London there’s WACK in the U.K. Vol.3 featuring ASP, MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN a.k.a. MONSTERIDOL, and the first, last and (most likely) only Western appearance of BiS EVER and for all time.

This is the first weekend in months where I don’t have work, travel, some side project, or any other commitment so I am going to be doing absolutely nothing and enjoying every minute of it. I would suggest everyone else rest up as well as we overseas wota are staring down a veritable marathon of idol appearances over the next several weeks.

This week has been so brutal that the bloodbath in Oshiloss Corner has leaked all the way up into the intro:

The third generation of BiS announced that they will be disbanding. While they did not give an official date for their final live and dissolution,  they did confirm their schedule through the end of December. This means that BiS will still make their Western debut at WACK in the UK on August 28th alongside ASP, and MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN TONAi BOUSHO a.k.a. MONSTERIDOL.

Welcome to FxxK TiF Weekend, 2024 Edition. We are a little bit less salty than previous years when overseas wota were blocked from purchasing livestream tickets to view  the worlds biggest idol festival. That’s because, this year, there are no livestreams being broadcast at all. Finally, overseas fans aren’t being singled out, everybody’s getting screwed!!  

So, unless you are physically present on the island of Odaiba this weekend, Tokyo Idol Festival might as well be happening on the dark side of the moon. Luckily, if you are in Germany, you can just go catch Isiliel!
