I love these announcements that come no more than two weeks before the official release date. And, if we’re lucky, we’ll get another MV like the last one, which seriously should be getting Of the Year consideration, you guys. It’s ridic.

For now, though, all we get is this trailer:

I did genuinely expect a lot more heaviness, to be honest. Some of those tracks positively bounce, and that’s not the look that I’m going for when it comes to mistress (to be fair, they’ve always been a little all over the sonic map). Yeah, and that song is on it, so. I was hoping for more from a song called “noise,” but maybe that “monster” track will rip a little bit more and they can release an MV that’s a metaphorical slaying of idol or something.

It’s been a hell of a year for mistress!
