Weekend Livestream Spotlight: LiLii Kaona, RILISREVERSE, NECROMA & Super Idol Summer Festival

There are so many great shows on The Calendar this weekend, it seems unfair to just highlight a few, but here goes:

Kick off Friday night (or, midday Saturday JST) with three of today’s best live chika idol acts on the same ¥1,500 ticket. The excellent Tribu pre. series continues with the reining queens of organic dream pop, Lilli Kaona, the criminally underrated Shiatsu-machi Underground and debut-of-the-year front runners RILISREVERSE.

Immediately following that stellar line-up, Super Idol Summer Festival kicks off on Nico Nico with a collection of trad and alternative idol units including CY8ER, sora tob sakana, CARRY LOOSE, Maneki Kecak, Up-up Girls, Wasuta, Niji no Conquistador and more.

You will need a premium subscription to see the whole thing.

Between festival sets, don’t forget to catch NECRONOMIDOL who will be broadcasting a rehearsal and live announcements on YouTube.
