I don’t want to say too much about this one because of a related, but different, piece that’s schedule to go live very shortly, but: Because this is how YMM rolls and discopsychedelica is out (and getting good reviews!) and why even bother putting out a CD if you aren’t going to promote the crap out of it, here’s yet another video:

Now, last time out, I was all “this is exactly my favorite kind of YMM song and I love when they do this even though it’s not their most typical move.” This right here? This is where I feel like their realest, truest core lies.

Which, don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying that it’s bad — it’s very far from bad — but that it’s not my idea of where You’ll Melt More! has their deepest power. The members probably disagree! And I would hope so: You could put this song in a pot, cover with water and simmer at low heat for about 45 minutes and wind up with L’essence de vous a fondu plus*. It’s kind of their thing. Half of the impossibly exquisite You Are the World album sounds approximately like this.

Anyway, I don’t want to go on too much about it because there’s something else from the company and I don’t want to be caught with my proverbial pants down, not with the Fun yet to get out.

*Which sounds great (fondue!) until you consider the implications
