When I did that belated Hyper Japan post, I made a promise that I would try to feature London Blue more on this site. And, well, look who brought out a music video just now:

That right there is the title track for their major debut single, “LONDON CALLING” released on Monday! I recognise this track from it being performed live at Hyper Japan, and honestly, I’m unsure if the recorded version sounds better than it did live. Recorded, you can really hear the guitars and their voices sound better. But it just seemed so much more energetic and peppier live. But that can honestly be said for any idol song, really. Also, did I see a couple of teeny-tiny London shots right there? Come on girls, you say you love London, you spend an entire weekend there but you don’t take advantage and film the whole MV there?

Ah well. Regardless, this is a cute song, and has the ideal sort of vibe for that transition from summer into autumn that we’re all going through. I’m so grateful to have found out about this fun little group, and I hope they manage to bring you the same kind of joy this early September too!
