Your Homicidols Weekender #473

I am spending all weekend putting the finishing touches on the Homicidols Best of 2025 nominations. Look for the nomination post including your ballot to drop early in the coming week. The fun part is finding images for all of the nominations from over the course of the year which has been complicated by Twitter’s advanced search function failing to work entirely. Or maybe the function still works but is just locked behind a pay wall because the richest man in the world wants even more cash. Whatever the case, the world got just a little bit shittier. Luckily, we have lots of wonderful idols to help counterbalance things.

Zenbu Kimi No Sei Da. is heading to Europe as part of their 10th anniversary world tour! Tickets are now on sale for the Austria date.

PIGGS kick off their post-Pour Lui era with a sweet new arrangement and PV of their classic, “Mona Lisa.”

Made in Maiden died for your sins.

RETRORAIN spent 2025 dropping one stellar single after another and have now gift wrapped them all up for us into one amazing 12-track album. They also gave us this PV from their second one-man live which they held last week. So generous!

SUTUASION gift us with a happy little holiday tune in celebration of their 5th anniversary.

GANG PARADE gifts us a live MV from their August band set.

NARUKAMI wrap up their rookie year with an EP whose album cover packs more raw power than a three wolf moon t-shirt.

Another of our stellar rookies: AQ drops one last single for this calendar year.

WACK is being disbanded for not being positioned to take on the global market. Case in point: the latest from ExWHYZ is currently blocked in the US on copyright grounds.

Bow before Maison de Queen.

The involvement of copious amounts of alcohol may help to explain the insanity that is the Fushigi Boys.

While we’re still under the influence, MILKYDOPE has this trippy PV to inject straight into our veins.

AVAM is always a good time.

Crazy: MADMED will disband on their first anniversary.

Nagi Reizuki has suspended activities with Clara Magura for the foreseeable future.

Over on the Homicidols Discord server, we have BobIsRandom to thank for bringing this one to our attention:

Meet BNSI (pronounced “bonsai”), an indie unit that debuted back in September and just released an MV for their second single. The group’s concept is “delete noises” and they eschew excessive decoration, embrace a monochrome color palette and incorporate and emphasize silence in their live performances. They also sing and dance at a very high level and have set their sites on growing an audiences overseas.

Have a Good Weekend!!
