Your Homicidols Weekender #353

I am back from my vacation and want to send out a special, “Thank you!” to Papermaiden for taking on Weekender duties while I slacked off in Mexico City.

While I did get a little rest on my time off, I am ready for my next adventure, so it’s a good thing that Saboten Con is happening next weekend in Phoenix. This year’s chika idol guest is fashion punk unit, Tokyo Psychopath. If you are attending, be sure to snag your ticket to the VIP events put on by our friends at Chaotic Harmony. They always present some unique opportunities to interact with idols that you will not get anywhere else.

It won’t be all fun and games at Saboten Con as Homicidols will be hosting our first-ever panel this year. They scheduled us pretty late at night, but if you’re still up at 11:30 pm on Saturday, join us in the Estrella room for, The Killer Side of Idol.  I will try to make it worth staying up past midnight.

We are also hoping that we will will be able to sit down with Tokyo Psychopath for an interview, so let me know if you have any question for the group here: Questions for Tokyo Psychopath.

For those of you on the other side of the pond, GARUDA and Satanic Punish will be launching their EU tour soon. Our friends at Beyond Senpai kindly collected all of the details in one place.

NARLOW continues to make a lot of noise for a rookie unit.

PassCode will be in the US for their debut American tour in just a couple of weeks. To help get folks hyped, they dropped their entire 2021 live at Zepp Haneda.

Is there anything better than acoustic RAY? No. The answer to that question is, “No.”

The Shihatsu-machi Underground reboot are putting out  some of the best music of the year.

Meet Adomio -a dominion-  who characterize themselves as “next-gen idolcore.”

SAZANAMi Λug. are quickly becoming one of Team Homicidols’ favorite new units, and releasing a song called, “Mega Pop Kill You” is just gonna make us like them more.

If you miss LiLii Kaona, I recommend that you check out new unit, greamish. They bill themselves as, “all-green, natural idols from Iwate” and definitely channel the LiLikoa “organica” vibe. We have to credit BobIsRandom for the find which he shared over on the Homicidols Discord server.

Yurapico always makes the world a better place.
