Your Homicidols Weekender #312

Here we are again, at out weekly capstone of alt-idol happenings. The big news this week came in the form of some major departure announcements which are tucked down in the Oshiloss Corner where they, hopefully, won’t hurt anybody too bad. 

Stateside, we have two big idol live events happening this weekend. If you are anywhere near Houston, Texas, be  sure to hit OniCon today to meet up with SENANAN and check out a mini-BURST GIRL reunion with Rinchama and Miyako.

Today is also the final live of Isiel’s Moonbow Gathering tour of the US.  Anime Expo Chibi is sold out, so I hope anyone in the LA area who wanted to catch this gig already snagged a ticket. 

For anyone who is lucky enough to attend either of these events, please post lots of stuff on Twitter (before it goes bankrupt) or over on the Homicidols’ Discord server so the rest of us can live through you vicariously. In the meantime, here’s a bunch of new stuff that dropped this week:

MAMESHiBA NO TAiGUN always has to put out at least one epic ballad a year. Here’s the entry for 2022.

THE ORCHESTRA TOKYO dabble in pirate punk. Have I mentioned before how much I love THE ORCHESTRA TOKYO?

Mecuro, one of the more promising new units of the year, makes their case in the lead up to Best of the Year nominations.

89-Hachikyu don’t release much of their music, but they perform almost  constantly. Carrythezero shared this example of the live prowess over on the Homicidols’ Discord server.

acro-A is nifty pop punk unit out of Fukuoka brought to our attention by D4rkWzd over on the Homicidols’ Discord server.

Risaki  Kakizaki is leaving MANACLE and taking a break from show business effective December 31st.

Shizuku Fufu got fu-fu-fired from Zenbu Kimi no Sei da.

Kitokano held their last live.

Misa Misa Correction: Sakura is leaving EMPATHY. I feel you.

Oshifound Corner

minan (who now stands as the only remaining official member of lyrical school) released this MV to support her first solo EP.

Gordon, band project of the idol formerly know as KoKoKo (Yukueshirezutsurezure), announced a new EP.

N・Feni got signed to a major label but is still playing on the streets.

    She’s not fired, she left on her own.

    She said in her new Twitter account that she herself terminated the contract through a lawyer.

    There was a similar reason for Yamakomaro’s departure as well, but then she also clarified that she was leaving for personal reasons and didn’t violate anything.
