We survived another week and, man, was it a treacherous one!! I am rarely partnered up on Valentines Day, so I typically spend February 14th ducking any reminders that the probability of my dying alone continues to steadily increase. Luckily, idols are always here to help navigate the storm. This time, it was KOYUKI of LiLii Kaona who introduced my  favorite new trend: Valentines Day tweets of idols also doing nothing special for Valentines Day.

Hopefully this becomes an annual tradition. Also, my niece did send me a homemade Valentine, so the day wasn’t a total loss.  Lots and lots of other stuff happened this week too, like:

We met Woven’s, the successor group to INforMEL who disbanded last year. They dropped a new MV to go along with their new handle.

Not only does Woven’s include Roa Toda (ex. NECRONOMIDOL), but the unit also features everyone’s new oshi, KILLERMACHINE.

I know a few folks who are crazy about Cinder-ella. I’m starting to understand why.

Witness the power of the mullet! BiSH‘s Ling Ling has become the 1,545th  holder of pro wresting’s Ironman Heavymetalweight Championship belt. Former champions include a ladder, a kotatsu  and Megu from Negicco.

OMNI666, one of the new idol units we’re keeping our eyes on, put out a lyric MV. It got me feeling a bit like SPARK SPEAKER, which is definitely not a bad thing.

For a change of pace, here’s all-male rock idol unit Secret Society NiRVERGE ∀ doing a cover of “Nerve”.

Speaking of male idols: the 17 finalists for “WACK Men’s Joint Audition 2022” have been unveiled.  You will be able to watch their progress live on NicoNico later this week.

C;ON has been crazy active lately which I am just loving. This live looks like an amazing experience.

It’s almost like MELON BATAKE a go go held a pajama party.

Rinhamu (former BiS and CY8ER) announced a new solo project with Teddy Loid and Giga. 

Non (ex. Candye Syrup and DEEP GIRL) proves she’s still one the best harsh vocalists out there.
