Your Homicidols Weekender #224

Good morning! And welcome back to Saturday! I was about to write, I can’t believe February’s almost over, but uh we’re a full week into March. As a colleague joked during a meeting yesterday, it’s another sign that the official motto of 2021 should be “good enough, I guess.”

I don’t have anything important to say — just stay well, stay hale, stay safe — so let’s just get right to it!

You Never Do

That’s it for SPARK SPEAKER, and it is bad:

A MIGMA SHELTER mix that you never knew you needed until you got it:

NEO JAPONISM of course has lots of cool things going on, but this is especially for us:

A little dream just came true:

This Gyuno Fes benefit single thing is such a cool chika idol all-star lineup:

I was going to write something about this new one from Melon Batake a go go, but I couldn’t make it work, so:

TOKYO Tefutefu already down one:

Herosyn on the other hand appears to be trying to reach an all-time member record, but they’re also going on indeterminate semi-hiatus (no lives):

Whereas BLACKNAZARENE is just plain going on hiatus, which would not be happening if they were a crucifixion-themed black metal act like I always wanted:

And MERRY BAD END is just expanding:

Just when it seemed like Oyasumi Hologram was well on the way to folding, they are currently holding auditions for all people, human and non!

Here’s some nice live PIGGS:

Idol in Focus

This week’s Idol in Focus is GuGu LULU, who (bear with me) are disbanding:

But then immediately going to be just some other thing:

And as long as they give us something else like this, they can be and do whatever they want:

A kinda-MV from Anthurium:

This is a pending debut that I’m pretty stoked about, just guilt by association:

This is a PARADISES MV that, much like with Melon, I just couldn’t muster a whole-ass post out of it:

And HimeKyun FruitCan:

Glad they busted out the old-school modified jersey looks, HKFC low-key always had the best outfits

It is the Official Policy of Homicidols Dot Com to manipulate search engines and exploit the success of one idol to fulfill our mission statement make sure that lots and lots of people know about idols, so from now on ATARASHII GAKKO!, no doubt being the recipients of lots more search engine traffic anymore (as our analytics show), will be a very important cog in that wheel!

Here are some things that ATARASHII GAKKO! did this week!

And a very important live clip!

You guys really should pay more attention to Payrin’s:

Remember when they played taibans?

And yet another MV from AiNA THE END:

I’ve heard much worse!

Have a great weekend!
