File this one under Of All the Weird, Goofy Luck: The previously short-lived Koiwosuruniwa Wakasugiru (Koiwaka for short!) has apparently sprung back to life after several months on ice:

Three completely new members, but I hope not a new sound at all. I previously liked a lot of what I heard from them.
In fact, if you go back to that first piece I ever did on Koiwaka and check out the comments, you’ll see that they’re connected to the owner of Rockmaykan; that would bode well for one’s relative level of success, I think.
Anyway, the funny part of this story is that the announcement tweets about each member happened just as I was looking at my feed yesterday, and seeing that @koiwaka_rock handle got my attention; because I was following the news in real time, more or less, I may be the first from-the-public followers those girls had. What a weird distinction!
