I had been meaning to get to Spark Road Show this week anyway, courtesy of Pure Idol Heart, but then this story happened:
… and that kind of takes precedence.
If you read the story, you can see that this wasn’t so much a marathon as a team run across Tokyo. It’s a big city, but it ain’t GANG PARADE big.
Anyway, Spark Road Show (their clearly preferred name) is a neat little unit that’s themed around movies. Not, like, Cinema Paradiso or Super 8 themed around movies, but their songs and performances use big-time film franchise and the like for subject matter.
All well and good. But the music? It depends on your tastes, but I thought this one was almost unfairly fun:
They have the kind of management that won’t play YouTube’s financial games, so you should just go to their channel and run stuff through a proxy if you want to learn/see more.
