It seems like Judge Judy gifs are good at summoning the idol gods (by which I likely mean producers): my dearest Yukueshirezutsurezure has finally released their first single in six months and it’s accompanied by a timely music video:
And it appears I sacrificed the accuracy of my colour vision to get this MV because their outfits are red. *Nervous laughter* As an Ultramarine through and through, I am now worried the fandom will change name to “The Garnets?”
Other than this visually startling change (Codomomental does always find a way to surprise us, don’t they?), this video reminds me of a couple of previous videos by the same group. Out of all Codomomental’s music videos to this day, only “Shinjuku Cinema Connection” had unrelated actors for an insert storyline. Considering the length of the gowns and the religious setting (it is a church, after all), I am also reminded of “Six Roar Falls”.
It is a powerful comeback from one of our most beloved units, considering we interviewed them and covered them for 100 days. While Mei Yui Mei’s previous credits are in obscure units mostly scrubbed from the internet, her voice is definitely up to the part.
While the six months during which Tsurezure did not release any singles were still speckled with activity and excellent shows despite being one member short, seeing an additional hime cut is a soothing sight. Please greet the tiny new human here (her consistent selling point is her height of a 146 cm) and tell her she’s packing the necessary punch for Tsurezure to teach Kaqriyo a lesson.
(Rating: 6 bleeding hearts because I sold my soul and don’t care for scale, apparently.)
