If you’re anything like me (have mercy), you’ve been waiting very, very hard(?) for a listen to the first new New BiS*. And I hate to break it to you, but it’s here.

Hold on to your butts.

What a twisted-ass song! The twisted circus thing makes perfect sense seasonally, and holy shit, that hook. I am much pleased by this song. THIS IS WHY I CALL IT IDOLCORE! I want a video for this song so badly, just to see what they’ve come up with. And what’s up with the lyrics?

If I know anything about Pour Lui, there’s no way that it’s called “Human after all” because she’s admitting mistakes. Rather, it’d be more disappointment that she still can’t actually fly, or that it’s our fault that something something.

One of the best things about WACK artists in their indie phases is how freely and commonly they make their music freely available. Original BiS had almost all of their indie stuff on Soundcloud (and just reissued it), BiSH did it with their first two albums, GANG PERIOD OF MERCY did it. I guess they figure, if they aren’t going to be making much money off of it, may as well use it as a promo!

*I KNOW VERY WELL that “BiSBiS” already happened. Do you really want to make Pour Lui’s boast track the first thing? Whatever.

  2. I love it. It’s weird sounding and I like weird. I get a psychedelic twisted carnival fun house vibe from it. This kind of music is perfect for Peritan’s tone of voice. Honestly it reminds me more of something that BELLRING少女ハート would do. And I will say it over and over, I love Aya’s voice.

    Seeing the song title and the word BiS by it at first instantly reminded me of the one GOD EATER song that Chitti from BiSH was featured on. I thought “oh shit did BiS remake that song??!!” LOL

  3. October’s a bit late for a Halloween single* but this is pretty fun. As always, I hope the great pumpkin will grant my wish for a PV.

    * Halloween singles seem to always drop in August, because apparently idol groups are managed by Costco
