We knew that she was going some kind of solo — given what her Twitter feed usually looks like, I assumed “mostly gravure” was the plan, but she’s making music! Acceptably!

Okay, so it’s literally just a little snip, but Natsumi’s a somewhat known quantity as a talent, and “Heart Core” has enough of a standards-meeting idorock kind of sound that I’ll accept it as a debut single. Speaking of … tonight? right now? is her debut live. So good for you, Natsumi.
