BURST GIRL have announced the release of a new CD and a collection of collaboration vinyls this coming May. The three-track CD, story, will be released on May, 20th. This will be followed by a limited tour in collaboration with the CD’s songwriters with 7″ vinyl singles of each track available at tour venues and from Disk Union.

The collaborators who contributed songs for the CD include DJ Mariko Gotou, Maya (KING BROTHERS and N’Shukugawa BOYS), Toru Hidaka (THE STARBEMS), and Oyasumi Hologram founder and producer Kouichi Ogawa.
The track-list for story has been announced as follows:
- miracle story (Maya and Ogawa)
- Thrill Junkie (DJ Mariko Gotou)
- Against the drain (Hidaka)
The three collaboration 7″ vinyl singles are:
- Thrill Junkie – BURST GIRL x DJ Mariko Gotou
- Against the drain – BURST GIRL x THE STARBEMS
- miracle story – BURST GIRL x Linda & Maya
Each record will feature BURST GIRL performing on side A with the collaborator’s version of the song on the B side.
If you can’t make it to Japan for their June tour, you may have better luck catching BURST GIRL at their U.S. debut this coming September at Saboten Con in Phoenix, Arizona.
