BiS’s Farewell to Pour Lui Is Available for Free

It’s time to start to say goodbye, apparently. BiS has placed both tracks from their re-major debut and final single with their founder, the grandest dame of them all and likely part of the string-pulling machinery at WACK, Pour Lui, out into the world for completely free listens:

If you were to say to me, “Maniac, Pour Lui is putting out her final recording as a member of BiS, what do you think it would sound like?” I’d probably reply, “How the hell should I know? Probably something that expresses her.” And while I’ll happily point a finger at the full-length mirror in front of me when saying that people have just as happily projected what they want BiS to be ever since it flickered back to life, that’s actually the honest answer to the question. She’s kept me guessing all this time because she could/should have been doing what I wanted her to do, which was never what BiS did, not at any point of this whole time.

This is the music that Pour Lui is (at least for now, and as far as we definitely know) sunsetting her live idol career with. It probably says a lot about her, in fact. These are the lyrics to “WHOLE LOTTA LOVE”*:
