A Good Day Is Here For Us!

Good Day to you all! I don’t mean just a general hello, but also that’s the name of this group…

Good Day is a duo made-up of  Yu (Also a member of Electric Ribbon!) and Mi Mi. They debuted this spring, probably not quite aware yet that the circumstances of Covid were going to be a serious obstacle to getting out there to have shows and doing promotions, but they’ve managed to start building up some traction thanks to their upbeat spirits and a handful of really terrific songs.

Speaking of really terrific songs, here’s a fresh new MV that they just uploaded: A tune called “GUGURU or DIE”. Stop what you’re doing and click that triangle-shaped button right now cause you’re gonna dig this…

See, I know right? Listen, I don’t rightfully know what a “GUGURU” actually is, but is sounds preferable to dying, so I think I’m gonna go with that option! Besides the song is kicking my ass, the video is crazy fun, and everything looks promising for more good times in the future, so why not? See? This tune is making our day better already…

As you’d likely guess from their moniker, Good Day is a duo who’s stated mission is to spread positive vibes and make you feel good. They describe their music as “free”, but not like in giving it away free, but like free-as-a-bird free!

They’ve got a couple more MVs uploaded as well, like this easy-breezy number that came out back in July…

And here’s that other one! Once again, the songwriting is top-notch. I especially like that understated guitar work.

And besides Yu being a concurrent member of Electric Ribbon, Mi Mi is has some fantastic solo work that she’s done. Check out this great song with a terrific low-key groove…

I would absolutely definitely advise you to keep your eyes on these two and try to support them however best you’re able to. At least perhaps give them a follow and let em’ know you think they’re the bee’s knees. Here’s some resources for you…
