This is a little bit on the late side, you guys, but I think you can bear with me wanting to talk about the about-time first single and a few other firsts from WILL-O’ now that we’re almost three years removed from their incidental point of origin in the weirdest on-stage moment in the history of Tokyo Idol Festival and, maybe against all odds or maybe because all associated projects have always been this good or maybe because manager-san is playing the game better than you think or maybe all of it, I dunno, they’re going as strong as ever before and all signs point to an almost unconstrained future.
This is of course all predicated on the MV that they released the other day, for their new (see above) single:
I don’t usually like to do bias* too hard around here, you guys. It’s not fair to the huge population of idols idoling away in idoldom to be too terrible discriminate in who gets shared and to what extent and with how many words in the intro to make the post longer. But when it comes to Tsurezure, and when it comes to Shidare, and when it comes to the chance to witness a farewell live from an official source, well, I’ll go ahead and endorse those fan club dues all day.
Now that the tour is not just official and real and possibly proof that we’ve been living in a Bizarro World dimension for the past year or so, NECRONOMIDOL wants to make very special* connections with you.
The most special of all? Worship and interface from afar!
Like any proper initiatory order, HOBD comes with degrees of membership — and just like the Masons or Scientologists, your degree comes down to how much you’re willing to pay! I don’t think that Ricky would appreciate my organizing a few shared accounts to get full access to all of the goods (which would of course then wind up elsewhere online before you can say “Necroma”), so I’ll refrain from that. It’s more than we get from being an international Ultramarine!
Also, for those of you/us who’ll be taking in Necroma’s black invasion of North America, the VIP ticket info is available. John with the goods: Continue reading
Have you joined the fan club yet? They’d like for you to:
Oh, and also that several-times-teased announcement will happen tonight for most of us (noon in Japan):
Ye gods, that’s an awful title
Well, friends, either I was drunk all day yesterday or this set of announcements from NECRONOMIDOL slipped through the cracks. Regardless, just so you know, as they wrapped up the “Blood Red Skies” show as part of the SCREAMING FOR VENGEANCE tour, Necroma unveiled themselves a brand new song that’s going to be out as a single at the end of August:
With a follow-up tour of New Caledonia to boot! “DAWNSLAYER,” though, what a title. That’s so dark and even reverse-Luciferian that I can barely stand it. Continue reading
There’s an air of anticipation today, you guys. Yukueshirezutsurezure’s “pandemic” tour final is just a couple of days way, and they’re ready:
In celebration of the release of the (excellent) KiLLER BiSH first major-label album, BiSH has announced the formation of their first official fan club, Smells Like Teen Spirits.
As a big BiSH fan, of course I am interested! What ever does this incredible opportunity entail? Continue reading
By all accounts, TENEBRAE ASCENDANT was a big ol’ success for the Dark Girls, and the new “Skulls in the Stars” video rocketed right into the peloton of Video of the Year candidates, but they didn’t stop there. Continue reading
