Ahh, Malcolm Mask McLaren, you are so good at moving these releases out in little bunches. Just last week we had “Just Believe”; this time around, we get “like this sneakers,” which I’m sure is new to just about everybody except for you lucky dogs who were in Japan the last couple of months, and that title, I think I know what they’re saying, but I’m also having a lot of fun with it. Almost as much fun as the song! See how I did that?
And that, friends, is melodic hardcore. Up to and including that xylophone.
I’m starting to wonder how much of the material from their new album they’re going to roll out in these easy-peasy live cuts, and if we’ll get a real-deal MV on par with “myself” at any time before the release date:

If I have any real quibble with MMM, honestly, it’s that they pull a petit pas! (patent pending!) in a lot of their music, relying on a lot of the same moves — guitar tone, effects, structure, tempo, etc. — across a lot of material. It sounds good in isolation; I just wonder how a whole bunch of it put together sounds after a while.
