KTA, NSFW, DGAF

It’s finally here, friends. Yes, I refer to the MV to promote the Identity Crisis EP from Kaqriyo Terror Architect, a record that was released in October and somehow feels like it’s still trying to earn the respect it deserves. The title of this post refers to a message that Papermaiden sent to the Team in the wee hours, in which it was suggested that perhaps one view this production not at work, for which it may be neither suitable nor safe, a qualifier that could be extended to public transit, school, where baby Jesus can see and judge you, etc. It also refers to lyrics! So keep this context in mind for a second, as you’re no doubt itching to press play and finally get to dig in.

But don’t let the various stuffs distract you too much, as you should focus on the song, because it’s a pretty good song!

Raise your hand when you see it!

We’ve been listening to “Identity Crisis” since all the way back when it was just a demo, and I’ve been spinning the record (well, “spinning”) a lot at the gym lately, seeing as how it’s pretty darn great. In fact, I’d been hoping to get a chance to do a review, which I haven’t done in a dog’s age, but you know, there’s never any time for that kind of frivolity anymore. Instead, we get the MV that was obviously going to come at some point (only about a month late!), and … well, it’s that!

I guess this means that KTA is official Codomomental’s, what? Sexy unit? Tawdry unit? Lewd unit? Is it just for the one song? Are these their new stage outfits? How does Kotetsu feel about this? Hell, how does Komariy feel about it? Let’s ask the members:

It appears that a good time was had by all! And rightly so — it’s a cool song, frenetic on all fronts, and one of the stranger videos you’re going to find in idol. High-gives all around.
