Yeah, shut up, I know it’s not the first time it’s ever happened and no, I had nothing to do with it, but I’ll be gosh darned if I don’t feel like the whole point of this stupid project has been validated by complete strangers.
Hey guys, remember when Maison Book Girl was in Canada last autumn? Did a few shows? Darn near got awarded Performance of the Year for it? Next Music from Tokyo put that together. It was tour #9. Tour #10 is in May. Feast your tired-of-reading-stupid-Maniac eyes on this:

- See you in Toronto (please go back to Toronto)
- I will be doing some additional paid work between now and then for the solo purpose of having enough loonies (as I’m informed the Canadese call their money) to buy every possible piece of merch and every possible cheki scenario, plus lessons so I can finally express to CoCoCo that I’m on to the fact that she’s some kind of obsidian-eyed alien and not really a person at all
- I might be crying; no, I’m not, you are
Sorry! Go read that post. And now I can also tell you that our lovely, anonymous friend in Tokyo tipped this news a couple of weeks ago; in a joint Tsurezure no Sei Da twitcast, it was heavily implied that Tsurezure would be making international appearances, and our friend said that he believed that he heard Komachi hum “Canada.”
I’m impossibly excited about this. And in the spirit of NMFT’s organizer scooping himself, I’m going to go ahead and say that, with months on our hands ahead of time, we can and should not only organize as much as possible to support this tour, but that we can and should organize as much as possible to have a great time while doing it.
More details (dates, etc.) to come, and also watch out for the chance to heavily influence who the final participant in NMFT10 is and who should come in NMFT11.
