This is an typical 100 Days, as Not Secured, Loose Ends gave us their MV for the “Loud Asymmetry” single, and I want to wrap my arms around it now and not later:
The members, we’ll catch up to them later.
The song’s good, we’ve known that for a while, though I do appreciate the final mix and getting to see it happen. If you’re an NSLE fan, you’ll like it just fine; if you’re not, you probably won’t be swayed, not by this one, not with lots of very familiar Tsurezure notes spread out over the thing. The general sound and shape of the synths, plus the cleans in the chorus, reminded me a lot of “Six Fall Roar,” which prompted me to reflect that, hey, that epic two-MV day was right around a year ago, and it’s probably to when you can trace the group’s emergence from cult-favorite little sisters of Zenkimi to a legit deal in their own right.
This wonderful gift is a reminder that not every idol who’d possibly get the 100 Days (or similar) treatment would ever release anything of note during that time, but Tsurezure’s been especially noteworthy along the way, and I’m really thankful for it. The 100 Days is almost done, and I’ll be kind of sad to see it go.
Especially because they’ll probably do something cool the very next day, and I won’t have a quota to fill anymore!
